There's something about the mountains that calls me, like...
😃 When I worked at Glacier National Park during college when I was 20.
😃 When I lived in Val D'Isere France for a ski season at 22 years old (and barely survived with my bad French living off my credit card!)
😃 When I almost moved to Colorado after 10 years in NYC. (Sorry CO, SF won out).
😃 When I decided I loved rocks so much that I made geology my minor to learn more (after geography as my major) back in Albany, NY.
And when I stared out floor to ceiling windows in Salt Lake City last week on my 4600.2 mile cross country trip from Florida(!) 😃😃😃
These mountains...
Remind us of our humbleness and how small we really are.
Remind us of the power if gravity, Mother Nature, and the harmony of life.
Protect us from all sides, feeling held and sheltered whenever I'm in their presence.
Wherever you are today, notice your surroundings. Are they feeding your soul or are you longing for something different?
One of the telltale signs you know you need a pause is that this is an opportunity knocking, or you feel strongly called to do something, or go somewhere.
If you are experiencing this sign (#4 of 5 signs you need to pause)...
LISTEN.
PAUSE. 🙌🏼
Then get curious about what that is, or what you could do next that gets you closer to this calling.
Your next step is to...
👉 Trust the path that is leading you...
👉 Follow it...
👉 Give thanks for it all, and surrender to what lies ahead.
Let's walk this path to what is calling you as a leader, together!
